Coverage: March 30–April 5, 2026.
Launch of the Week
Liveblocks, a provider of real-time collaboration APIs, introduced a React Flow package that synchronizes diagrams through Liveblocks Storage and displays collaborators' cursors. Packaging a specific canvas workflow could shorten adoption for diagramming products comparing it with broader realtime infrastructure such as Ably.
Company Launch
Ignav, a flight search API, launched with endpoints for finding fares and retrieving booking links. It gives developers building travel apps or price trackers an alternative to FlightAPI, with a free tier for trying the service before adding it to a product.
Enterprise Watch
WorkOS, an enterprise authentication platform, added six predefined directory attributes, including employee numbers and manager identifiers, with automatic provider mapping. Richer profiles could reduce custom directory integration work for products whose enterprise customers expect organizational context, strengthening a practical buying argument against Auth0.
GTM Trends
Mux, a video API platform, published its case for cost-based pricing, explaining its use of resolution tiers, unbundled features, and dollar-based commitments. This is positioning rather than a newly announced price cut: it asks buyers comparing Cloudinary to evaluate workload economics instead of the simplicity of a pricing page.
More Devtool News
- ✨ Clerk, an authentication and user management platform, added seat-limited organization plans that automatically block additional memberships until customers upgrade. Tying payment to identity limits reduces entitlement plumbing, but this release does not yet let buyers choose arbitrary per-seat quantities at checkout; Stripe Billing remains a comparison for more flexible billing requirements.
- ✨ WorkOS, an enterprise authentication platform, introduced self-service email-change endpoints that verify the new address before updating it. The flow could remove a support task from account management, while developers still need to integrate the endpoints and handle the user experience; Clerk is an alternative.
- ✨ Sanity, a headless CMS, added MCP tools to create and list content releases, alongside Figma Make origin support. Agents gain a structured way to stage grouped changes, but teams still need to review what those changes publish; Contentful is a competing content platform.
